So much respect to Hardhat for being early innovators… but the developer experience truly dreadful after using Foundry for so long There’s just something about how it overrides everything in very unintuitive ways, general JavaScript mayhem, plus mapping all of it onto Solidity. RIP

My anecdotal experience: it’s totally fine. Foundry is solid too, but I’ve had basically no issues with Hardhat.

It works but the mental overhead to map back and forth is immense compared to Foundry.

Ah, that's interesting. I write both the contracts and the web app so I'm used to switching back and forth. If I was only writing contracts, I'm guessing I'd agree with you 100%.
