Someone is impersonating me on opensea and has stolen 200+ pieces of art, unminted works I have posted here or on twitter. They are profiting, I will not see any of the proceeds Please help by reporting the collection https://opensea.io/collection/light-art-by-trillobyte

Fuck. Happened to me twice. My pieces were already minted on ETH and they tried running collections on MATIC for way less than I was charging. Now I won’t post any pieces I plan on minting before doing so.

Yep. Took a few days. They weren’t able to sell any in that time.

Yikes! Might take them a while to do something about it. I'd start up an official collection/s and mint every piece, even if you have no plans to list them. Going forward I wouldn't release any images you're worried about getting right click, save, minted until after minting them yourself. I mint all the pieces of my 1/1 collection on manifold before listing them on OS. With editions I can mint+send myself 1 or airdrop a batch to people. With 1/1s I worry a bad actor will mint a copy before I have a buyer mint the official piece from a claim page.

No problem. Think @foodmasku got into nfts because people were stealing his pics, minting and selling them before he was. Imagine discovering a bunch of people rocking your pics as pfps all over clubhouse before minting your first piece. 😭 Every now and then I slip up and show a piece before minting. This was a reminder to stop doing that.

They’re still stealing and minting my vids. NFTs didn’t solve a thing.

The worst is when they do it and repost without any sort of context.
