village owners, You have been competing in a weekly battle with your neighbors unawares over the last week! It started last Friday and ends tomorrow. The village in your neighborhood that gains the most villagers compared to what they started with wins! And you'll now see a new updated ui showing each villages gain in the week. This week the winner will only get a bonus of 10 🏆 for testing purposes but going forward all winners will split 25% of the rewards for the following week! Will be adding more ui in the coming days to visually show what's happening in the weekly battles. Neighborhoods are still composed of 10 villages but you may see less if a village has been razed. Neighborhoods will update weekly at the start of each weekly battle based on your # of villagers. May the best village win!

I was doing that the other week, but then I swapped to building huts and not populating them. Then the 5 week stoke happened and I did the lumber camp strategy instead. I know for a fact though that other people have been planning for this for weeks too.
