I wanted to give you all a look at what we're working on and what's coming next for /stokefire. 🔥 This isn't a roadmap per-say but just want you to know that we are still working and making progress! - Weekly Battles People seem to like the new incentives and neighborhood competition. I'm working on adding some better ui and notifications so that you are aware of battles ending and how much score is gained from them. This week we will have a smaller reward again 100 🏆 as we make sure everything works well. There are a couple of villages that weren't assigned a neighborhood and making sure that is fixed. weekly battles is important in pushing incentives towards strategy and skill in the game. - Notifications The PWA doesn't work with background notifications so @kelvinpraises is working on fixing that up. I didn't know how much all of you relied on them till they were turned off. 😅 I've heard you loud and clear! ... 👇

Do you think making wood and food into tradable tokens will ever reach the roadmap?

Not counting that out but kind of doubt it. If they are tradeable then they would probably only be tradeable within the stoke fire contract. maybe other contracts could still leverage this though. but I think an actual erc20 would add some economy and pricing complexities.

Yes we had some ideas that would rely on this, such as selling raid insurance via a contract 🤣 Thanks for letting us know

haha, so resources would need to be erc20s for this to work?

It might be possible if tradable via a stoke fire contract but I think it would be significantly harder to make it a trustless system as a 3rd party dev

yep, that makes sense. can you share the idea in more detail? curious to see how this could work.

Because the wood and fire are not currently tradable we didn't flesh it out much. But we proposed first looking at the battle stats for a given player. Then calculating risk (This is probably significantly easier with fixed neigbourhoods now) Then we could create and deploy an insurance contract. This would require and track a daily deposit say x wood, or x food, or x fire. If a payment was never missed and you could prove you lost over a certain % of your wood over y amount of time, it would pay out some pre determined amount of that resource. That was the initial idea, but again we didn't persuit it further.

gotcha, thats interesting. Maybe some kind of sudo erc20 contract on wood or food could make this possible. Something that doesn't need liquidity and real money going into it but is tradeable.
