Random question for Indians here:

What is the mood in the country regarding the idea of changing the timezone toward something aligned with UTC (either +5 or +6)?

Intuitively it feels like it could be a significant convenience boost given the growing desire and ability to participate more in the international economy

30 mins of difference + or - highly doubt if it would make a significant difference. 

That’s being said I think India is heading in the right direction for growth, even contemplating increasing the trading hours for securities which would be a ++ overall.
