CLOB requires less capital in the book for the same volume of exchange compared to AMMs, but AMMs are still a great invention for newer markets

for Uni V2, the LP capital is spread across the whole price range 0 to +inf, this is highly reduced with V3 but not as optimal as the granularity that CLOB offers

Genuinely out of good faith - I don’t see how? Can you illustrate with an example?
