I'll say the awkward part out loud. 

A lot of the Solidity community leaving for Vyper has been a big detriment to Solidity's public narratives and to an extent, price as well. 

Hate on this take all you want but it's true.

good integration with Python and pythonic tools

No dynamic length bytes type has blocked me from moving every time I've written any contract. Lots of the Vyper tooling is great though.

I make lights blink and play with crypto (cryptography and cryptocurrency) at /neynar. they/them or he/him

I have a function that takes "bytes calldata stuffForBalancerV2_flashloan" as an argument. 

I was talking with a dev who was implementing his own flash lender and his code took `bytes[10000] calldata extraData`. So many wasted zero bytes

Can you give an example where existing dynamic types are not sufficient? I can prioritize solving this
