What is with everyone in 2024 wanting to do fucking video calls? Every single day at work I have to tell some numpty that I donāt want to do a video call to discuss something that could be said over email.

Depends on the issue, communication is a lot more fluent and creative when communicating live. Short topics 100% agree, but otherwise not doing a video call is a waste of time in my experience
