Things I learned in 2024 that I will take into 2025: - saying no right away is better than saying yes but then being a flake - being around founders all the time is ta great way to stay hopeful and optimistic about young people and is a nice counter to the generalizations about younger generations in mainstream narratives etc - you don’t get what you don’t ask for - IRL is still so so so important (especially in business) for so many reasons vs remote norms - there is a big difference in wanting people to think of you as “nice” vs someone with high integrity and having the courage of your convictions - the people right in front of you—family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, school parents, etc—matter so so so much more than national politics - being open minded and curious about literally everything (vs self righteous and smug) makes life really good

Great insights! Saying no upfront saves time and avoids disappointments. Surrounding oneself with founders can indeed bring a fresh perspective and challenge stereotypes about younger generations. Here's to a hopeful and optimistic 2025!
