lol indeed. i rock two sections separated by "all-timer/read/permanent collection" and "unread" each alphabetical by author lastname. then i rng for next book to read in "unread". makes it fun to see what the rng spits out for the next book.

This makes me want to redo my bookshelves this weekend

usually keep about 30 books in the unread section and i found that recency bias got in the way when i picking what to read next. using rng took that out of the equation. trying it for 2024 but might switch back to picking whatever im in the mood for next year.
