Oh wow. Sad. And also a sign of the times: if you can't deny the message, try to discredit the messenger. Ad hominem fallacies are the norm these days. What I find most surprising, is that they are the easiest to spot fallacies. It's always so that aiming your argument at the credibility of a person means your arguments on the content are weak.
