World Liberty Financial, the Trump family-backed DeFi project, has formally proposed that it will be launched using Aave V3 on the Ethereum mainnet. 

A portion of the protocol's interest will go to the Aave Ecosystem Reserve, and plans to expand to Scroll, Ethereum's Layer 2, are under consideration.

In explaining the decision, the team has stated the following: "We chose Aave because it is a best-in-class lending protocol with top-notch security practices and a strong track record. Partnering with Aave allows us to offer a reliable platform that our users need".
