Bodrum is a district and city in southwestern Turkey, in the province of Mugla, on the southern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, on the shore of Bodrum Bay of the Gulf of Gökova Aegean Sea, closed from the south by the islands of Iç and Karaada, northeast of the Greek island of Kos, about 300 km west of Antalya.
