Vaduz is the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the seat of the national parliament. The city, located on the upper Rhine River, has a population of 5,741 (January 2022), most of whom are Catholics. The city's cathedral is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.
