Side is an ancient town located on the southwestern Mediterranean coast of the modern Turkish province of Antalya, 70 km east of the city of Antalya and about 7 km west of the city of Manavgat. Nowadays Side is a popular tourist resort, administratively forming a microdistrict (mahalla) within the municipal district (ilce) of Manavgat.
