A key breakpoint in Web 2.0 social networks happened when people figured out how to exploit the newsfeed for their own engagement in a way that hurt the experience of the overall platform (eg Zynga spamming Facebook in 2008).

What will happen on Warpcast when that moment comes? The Warpcast team solves it with one newsfeed algo change for everyone? Multiple newsfeed algos emerge? Some user choice on filtering?

I would love to see competitive and public feed algorithm development be one of the main archs of the farcaster client ecosystem.

Also need to factor-in token dynamics, which web2 didn’t have. 
We can’t assume the parallels translate 100%.
