Protesting is a deep part of Korean culture. My first experience with protests happened while I was visiting a museum with an artist to view their work. We had to “shelter”inside but could see the protest happening through glass walls. What I did not expect to see was a man cut open packs of tofu and then sneakily dump the contents onto the heads and the back of the necks of the police force.
