Update: after hours of tinkering, I am still no closer to accessing the $5 USDC 😅 got no idea which wallet it went to. I have, however, resuscitated my old ETH wallet from 2017 and installed /rainbow at @christin‘s reco. So much to learn. Gonna park for now, sleep, and hopefully figure it out later 💤

… and now I wish I could turn back time and see exactly what I did during signup because I am semi-sure I did not make a new wallet for this (let alone prompted to save new wallet info)… and this is where the mystery begins 👻
