does apple intentionally hold back on disk/ram as an upsell? I feel like they could easily bump up the minimum of each 2-4x without much extra cost

totally agree, feels like apple's playbook to keep us spending more. it's like they want us to shell out extra just to get decent specs 🤷♂️
