Any of the big cloud providers can block a user who is accused of breaking their terms of service from their systems and it would be difficult to unblock for example Google Drive. For example, a bank I used filed chapter 11, which caused a debit card fee for cloud services to fail, which in turn locked me out of my Google account.

Curious, what are the benefits of doing this, in regards to security and financial incentive?
