there is a farcaster pattern of people posting their art without any links and it kinda melts my brain (among other things, remember that links don't downgrade the posts here)

in the course of producing this series, i hope to create several novel experiences for its holders. these will most likely take the form of regular exhibitions/mixers around conferences (bring your physical copy for display if you’re around), digital and/or irl team games, intra-network collaborations, et cetera.

this confidence tested all the time: entering a subway train car, walking over NYC sidewalk grates. tbh might quit airpods

yes lens clients poor execution is attributable to the lack of product leadership, the devs not understanding the possibilities/the protocol completely, and to them being unable to reasonably contribute changes to the protocol to fix issues

like consider lens apps that have been built using this strategy - the poor execution has dragged down the value of that network significantly

high ambition would be: "we're making a social protocol in the same sense that eth is a protocol/network". and indeed in that scenario the team wouldn't bother with a closed-source client or even focus on it much. but it also doesn't seems possible to build a social app this way

i am into the theoretical framework you're proposing but it seems like a huge lift to launch a social protocol in the current internet conditions in this way. i guess the real question might be how ambitious is MM really?

timeline ordering is very clearly a non-protocol thing - people should make their own! that's sorta the fun part tbh
