yeah, we moved – daycare can easily be even more than this for 1 kid where lived in brooklyn, though our rent was a bit less (2700). child care costs are insane

renting while with kids is a whole thing in itself too (i.e. potentially moving w/kids ಠ_ಠ), but mostly i wish all the pro-natalist mfers were also pro- heavily subsidized child care bc it's all so broken – very expensive, the cash doesn't make it to workers, etc
