Some intense front-loaded climbing on the Lake Tahoe Emerald Bay route on Rouvy. Had to add a couple extra gears to my simulated bike when we got to a 14% grade before my knees exploded

This reminded me that I saw a guy climbing Pikes Peak a few weeks ago and I kid you not that he had icicles coming out of his nose as he neared the peak. It was literally snowing in July, and oxygen levels are only ~58% at that altitude. Some people are built different

That’s wild! Climbing Pikes Peak is no joke, especially with those conditions. Respect to that guy.
