GM frens, 🫡The question for today: Are You a Farmer or an Influencer? In Web3, the term "Farmer" is becoming common on platforms like Phaver and Lens. But how does this differ from an "Influencer" in Web2, and why does "Farmer" often carry a negative connotation? Both roles create content, build followers, and engage with their audience. In Web2, these individuals are called influencers and are respected for their reach. In Web3, they are termed "Farmers," focusing on collecting tokens and rewards. While influencers are seen as market leaders, farming often implies profit-seeking without authenticity. This stigma arises from the belief that Farmers manipulate systems for value without genuine community engagement. However, many Farmers add value through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The key lies in intention: if you work hard in Web3 like you did in Web2, you may unfairly be labeled as a "Farmer." This label can stigmatize those striving to grow in Web3. Real Farmers often seek short-term reward…

....and have a nice day, frens. I didn’t have space to add it. My original text was 2,200 characters; I already had to compress it to the unreasonable limit of 1,200 characters.

What about a person that farmed the hell out of this project and it is still here? 🤣🤣🤣 in my defense, I started using Phaver because I liked it, after they made the app a big farm (7 months ago) I started to not like the app and just saw a big opportunity to make some quick money (I didn’t even need to post since I have some nfts) and I am still here, maybe I want to get my 20 usd worth in points after s2 or maybe I am waiting to see if they will improve the app.. I still find it boring af but here I am connecting everyday..

A *farmer* is someone who is merely interested in tanking profit from airdrops, dumping all assets and tokens and without any real interest in supporting and growing the platform. That's why it has a negative connotation in web3. Top influencers are called *KOLs* (Key Opinion Leaders) and those who believe in the projects are *holders* or *diamond hands*
