Interesting read for anyone who wants to get into the nitty gritty of the Blake/Justin thing and how the PR landscape has changed since social media. https://puck.news/the-villains-of-the-year-are-the-it-ends-with-us-publicists/

I have a multiple day drive coming up and desperately need recommendations for an entertaining podcast! I love journalistic podcasts with up to ~10 episodes, could be true crime but doesn’t have to be! Some I’ve enjoyed in the past are "I’m not a monster", "Corinna and the King“ or “Suave”

I love to see Blake quietly gathering evidence and then hitting him hard. This whole thing gave me an icky feeling from the start, especially him “caring” so much about DV aspect of the film. Sort of like the dude wearing nail polish since he’s so in tune with his masculinity but continues to manipulate and put down women in his romantic relationships.

My hack is this game: Pick a category you want to stick to. Last night, it was colors for me. Then, go along the alphabet and find at least one per letter. So Azure for A, Blue for B, Cyan for C and so on. I get distracted sometimes but generally works well. It keeps my brain occupied enough to not ruminate on things but it’s also kind of boring so I can still fall asleep. I’ve never made it to Z 💀

Well it depends… did you stab someone in their sleep in cold-blood just to access their fortune OR Did you accidentally bump into someone, they fell weird on their head and died as a result 👀

With the lawsuit filed by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni I am even more curious on how y’all stand on this. I’ve had the feeling of a smear campaign even back when the movie dropped because why tf were we seeing random headlines of Blake being rude to someone 5 years ago??

Story no. 384729 on how you can never escape Google: Two people were just arrested in northern Spain for allegedly killing a man. Recorded forever stuffing a dead body in the trunk by the Google street view car 💀

Lawmakers tried to make elective abortion legal in Germany twice, but both times the Federal constitutional court said no no no. They invented a new concept - it is illegal, but will not be punished up to 12 weeks. Abortion-seeking people have to undergo mandatory counseling, to realize the value of the "unborn life" and encourage them to carry the embryo/fetus. It’s one of the most restrictive abortion regulations in “developed countries”. So to answer your question - it happens, but rarely. Laws are being revised currently! If liberalized we can stay tuned for another case before the Federal Constitutional Court 👀

I am a lawyer, but not in the US. First thing is, laws can be hundreds of years old. Language changes over time. Secondly, every word conveys a specific meaning. In every day situations some may be used as synonyms but at closer look, they will have different effects, which can change outcomes of cases immensely. Also: If laws are written simply in a general way, they leave great room for interpretation. This goes against the concept of legal certainty. But we all want to know possible legal outcomes of our decisions, right? Happy to be proven wrong, come for me MIT 👀

Did you know that elective abortion is always illegal in Germany? The protection of the „unborn life“ always outweighs the pregnant person‘s right to bodily autonomy. Seems too crazy for a country which heavily preaches gender equality.

Please be wary of these things 🙏🏼 just the latest Taliban propaganda trying to portray Afghanistan as a “safe country” now and establish themselves as legitimate government. Ask yourselves - safe for who?
