Takeaways from Farcaster Dev Call ā¢ Use long casts as a way to increase amount of quality casts that generate meaningful discourse ā¢ How can channels become so good that content or incentives from a single channel actually drives people to sign up to FC? ā¢ How to get people from X to FC? Audience larger on X so quality content or unique functionality is the opportunity ā¢ Reach out to FC team if interested in early testing / input of external cast data (ex. polls) ā¢ Decentralizing channels is a balancing act w/ primary focus on existential need to grow users ā¢ Expectation for hubs is operators must ensure high quality deployments, otherwise FC may actually charge fee to run hubs in the future
