Zenitsu is often depicted as cowardly, whiny, and easily frightened. He is terrified of fighting demons and tends to panic in stressful situations, often expressing his fear through exaggerated reactions. Despite his fears, Zenitsu has a strong sense of loyalty and will always step up when his friends are in danger. His most prominent trait is his deep affection for Nezuko Kamado, often expressing his love for her, though she is typically unresponsive due to her being a demon.

Zenitsu’s character is complex, as he grows significantly over the course of the series. He can be brash, but also displays moments of remarkable courage and determination when it matters most.
