A 🇬🇪 Georgian court has ordered the imprisonment of George Bachiashvili, ex-aide to former PM Bidzina Ivanishvili, for allegedly embezzling 8,253 BTC between 2015-2017. Authorities say Bachiashvili violated bail by fleeing to 🇦🇲 Armenia, later entering a third country. His lawyers call the case politically motivated, citing weak evidence. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison.
