Blockchain developer Kartik Patel has launched Anon World, a decentralized anonymous social platform based on the Farcaster protocol that aims to protect user privacy and drive community-driven discussion. Drawing on Reddit's user interface design, the central architecture relies on ZK-based credentials, which are stored in the user's local browser and do not collect any metadata or wallet information. Users need to hold a specific ERC20 token in order to post. The platform initially supported ERC20 tokens on the Base network. Anon World includes features like subreddits, where groups of users with shared credentials can interact. Credentials can be stored in a local wallet or in a key-based profile. Previously, Patel launched AnonCast, a decentralized social media application built on the Farcaster protocol.
