Metaplanet chief executive Simon Gerovich said the goal this year is to increase bitcoin holdings to 10,000 "using the most value-added capital market tools we have available." Metaplanet currently holds 1,762 bitcoins. The company plans to use a variety of ways, including loans, equity and convertible bonds, to increase its bitcoin holdings in 2025 and beyond.
