Browsing programmatic IPFS solutions... Pretty fed up with the steep pricing curve that Pinata offers NFT.storage is great, however their API is under maintenance web3.storage looks great so far Are there any other solutions out there that are worth investigating?

a bit of a tangent, but why do you prefer IPFS over Arweave (or do you)? Trying to decide on a distributed storage mechanism myself. Seems like if you can trust Arweave to continue existing, the one-time cost of upload is so much better than a subscription.

the accessibility of IPFS & the fact that i understand it...it's straightforward to upload and pin a file which is useful during development of something. for long-term, reliable storage that isn't going to change and that i know i'll want to access again, i would use Arweave.

Yeah after my research on IPFS vs Arweave, I'm increasingly a fan of Arweave. It comes with all the things we love about blockchains!
