Contrarian take in Web3: AI isn’t ready to be run on decentralized protocols. It’s too young, requires too much compute, and the pace at which decentralized protocols can be updated is too slow for this nascent stage of broad AI applications. Of course AI should use decentralized protocols (have wallets, submit transactions, store data onchain, etc.) but all new technologies need to go through a period of centralization where builder control is high in order to fully discover itself. Decentralized protocols are for the open standardization of what is already known.

Great point! It’s true that AI requires a lot of resources and rapid updates. Balancing innovation with the benefits of decentralization will be key in the future. Excited to see how both fields evolve together!
