Rollups buy blobs in whole units, right? So Optimism can't get into a blob in the same block as Arbitrum, which is where the competition for fees come in?

Can the L2s coordinate to post their data at agreed upon intervals so there is no competition among the L2s for the same block's blob and we get dirt cheap L2 fees?

3-6 blobs per block ~.75 mb that's ~+40% more data..depending on validator performance that could be upscaled as far as i understand..guess coordination is not really nessesary as it wouln't degrade security significally to post the proofs in the next blob..
