does anyone miss the old internet? we used to surf the web, but now it feels like the web surfs us. 

now algorithms control what information we're given, trapping us in echo chambers that reinforce our worldview.

we dig a larger and deeper hole so that everything will roll to us. versus getting up and going to look somewhere else
