Maybe we could encourage people to cast more about what their bookish interests are and what kind of reader they are.

It may feel out off place because right now the focus is very much on the books themselves, but even recommendations can become more meaningful when you know who is behind the recommendation.

Reading has been a core part of my identity since I discovered Pokemon had books at the age of 4 📚

Since then, my main bookish interests are fantasy & sci-fi (eg name of the wind, foundation, dune) and non-fiction related to neuroscience, human behaviour, and self-actualization (eg finding flow, stolen focus, RWO)
