Crazy that the cost to transact on L2 right now is ~$1.

I know 4844 will change this very soon but feel like the vision being sold for L2 was "free and instant" and we're already starting to see fees become a meaningful blocker prior to a real bull market starting.

Praying we don't run back outrageous tx fees again.

Also! Just to say it, standard debit / credit transactions is like 1.50-2.50 so L2s still ahead of the curve

Good point on the debit/cc but its usually the merchant that eats that cost. Consumers rarely take it on (in NA at least...)
