i’m 1000% for onchain creators, but this feels a bit disingenuous Jesse, someone with the greatest distribution on base, makes $6k on a mint on Zora but the same wouldn’t happen for someone with minimal distribution onchain in fact, a new artist would have to *pay* to put their music onchain and may get no mints

I thought a lot about it last times (maybe because I'm a creator with small distribution), and I think a social platform reaches a minimum impact value when it become its own distribution network allowing its creator to build an economy on it, for now it's not the case for zora, rodeo or farcaster one by one neither for them all together. X remain the main distribution network and a study on it might show a direct link between followers count on X and average mints. This space is still in its early days, culture changes take between 5 and 10 years, so we have to be patient and focus on the right metrics (not one time numbers by biggest accounts in space but the average for the median account) All that to say I fully agree with you !
