Berlin anarchists sit cross legged in Görlitzer Park, tweaking new self-governance rhythms, microtubule alchemy to jointly collapse the wave. S&M is a technology. Permaculture. Protest strategies in Taiwan. Agroforestry in Mexico, community credit circles in Kenya, hybrid cuisines in Kiev, free creation to spite the war. Dōjinshi genre-forks in Tokyo, breathing techniques in Cassadaga. Everyone, everywhere is experimenting all the time, a massive open calculus, a stubborn material creativity. Real ones know that when Avon says “Just dream with me” to Stringer Bell, he isn’t being sentimental or unrealistic. He’s gesturing toward a different form of life - one that is here and now. If violence makes elements of reality withdraw and crypto is a protocol for legitimacy without force, it follows that we are participating in a kind of social psychonautics. We should expect that wherever peace is reclaimed, hidden dimensions of the real will present themselves.

Ethereum is an open protocol - extitutional by nature. That means its assets are permissionless & freely circulated, and kept open by a culture of free improvisation and empirical imagination. Open protocols use pseudo-institutional forms called extitutions to help protect & maintain them. Think of these as temporary storefronts that formalize the open dimensions of the protocol. Orange County’s Brotherhood of Eternal Love (who formalized the open dimensions of the LSD scene) is a great example of an extitution. @ethereumfndn is another great example. Extitutions scale horizontally, not vertically (for the below reasons). Anything less is counterproductive. ETHDenver is just another institution. 🤷🏼‍♂️
