there is so much going on here . think that it was looked at for at least 15 minutes parsing out : the very large eye and sun touching the turned over chair . the mushroom cloud . fish lady with no head but then the black dot implies that maybe it is just a floating one . the brains platform and face that drops up the stairs . this is not illustration ewi . this is a menagerie of mystery and intrigue . it's not overwhelming because everything reads so clearly and yet each element is in counterpoint with another opening up so many questions . 100 $RARE

I’m touched by your comment dear friend 🥹🙏 And very grateful for the time you spent on looking at my work and enjoying it. It’s all I can ask for 🫂🪽 You’ve made so many great observations. I separated the head in purpose (black bubble). It symbolised cutting oneself from intrusive thoughts (the position is in the brain structure). I drew different perspectives with emphasis on positions a person is taking (choosing). The chair helped me with it and yin-yang sign (night and day, black and white) The woman in foreground is not patalised by anxiety and stays in touch with her heart and nature (iris) Up the stairs there’s her little “me” —crouched under the chair. The fish wants to swim in the ocean of life to its source (the woman turns into a fish cause deep down she knows what she needs the most). In the background fish is trapped. Its perspective on life is damaging itself—fish sitting on a chair whereas little anxious “me” is hiding in fear with its head towards the wall.
