i know it's not a famous banana, but it's still an art form and, what's more, it's edible! i made edible art a few years ago: i bought an ice cream cone and a Dutch stroopwafel. i used a special mirror glaze & whipped cream to paint the wave and the floor of the room where someone is sitting, watching the great incoming wave but with peace of mind. please enjoy! 🫠🍦🌊🧇🫲

today i want to highlight one of my favourite artworks from a great artist @mvf a mixture of geometry and abstraction. the most precious part i always find in Markus artworks is freedom of unique interpretations given to the viewer. in this particular piece i see someone having very heavy head, perhaps troubled mind. this person doesn’t know yet what’s waiting for him in the future. in the background everything seems settled —perfectly arranged geometrical shapes; yet above his head there’re many overwhelming pieces. once i’ve heard a metaphor from a psychologist that when we are born, we find ourselves in the situation of an astronaut who has landed on a foreign planet called Earth… those words stayed with me for a long time cause were related to one of the most crucial human needs —a sense of security. then this illustration came to life. hope you enjoy! xoxo ewi
