No, it's basically AirPlay screen sharing — with all the latency and other issues. Not a help for any sort of "productivity gain". Gen1 seems like a toy more than a work device.

Dangit! Ok I’ve found a critic! Everyone else really seems to think it’s amazing? It is interesting that you compare it to a toy. It makes sense that it might not be ready for boosting productivity. Do you think it could boost enjoyment? Like, coding on the moon with your team?

Got an Apple Vision Pro. It’s going back. 

It’s simultaneously the coolest thing I’ve ever seen — and also definitely not something I would use on a regular basis.
