Now that Truffle has announced its sunset, we are thinking about where to migrate to. I am curious to know if developers prefer Foundry or Hardhat and why?

If you have a lot of legacy JS to maintain, it's probably easier with Hardhat, but I strongly prefer Foundry. I like Foundry tooling but the big distinction is that I write more, better tests in Foundry and run them more often. They are also not mutually exclusive: it's possible to use both in the same project.

Bite the bullet and migrate to foundry now, hh would be a half measure

love foundry. it’s a lot faster. I think it’s a bit harder to migrate to vs hardhat, but worth it imo

foundry. so much faster to build and run tests. couldn’t imagine going back to hardhat now
