Somewhat humorously, one of the projects is located in an area with, let’s just say, some neighbors who have very good reason to be suspicious of gringos bearing camera networks. Maybe we should be careful about how the tech we are deploying “for a better world” will be perceived by our local neighbors first?

It's crucial to consider local sentiment when deploying technology. Building trust with communities is key to successful adoption. A tech for good approach must prioritize transparency and respect for local concerns to truly foster positive change.
