the example in "Situational Awareness" is grim, but it seems increasingly likely that the success of crypto could hinge on its ability to: - give AI agents a non-fungible body that can store value (borrowing from @0xbg.eth). - provide an economic medium for AI agents to transact with humans and programmatically interface with real-world assets.

Technological and sociological advantages almost always win “wars”. See examples given above, the Romans, Greeks, and from the Three Body Trilogy. I think of crypto winning in three scales Short term: entertainment/utility Medium Term: Better developer primitives Long term: providing social cohesion through verifiable math.
