For the average person working in tech, what's their most valuable credential? I suspect for most it's the most "impressive job they've had, with a decay function for how long ago that was".

I think the most valuable credential is your network. Obviously you have to be the right person for the job in the first place but to differentiate among everyone else who is also right you make sure that you have a lot of people who can recommend you.

The amount of contacts in your telegram who will be very happy to chat with you any time? How about the amount of dms that you get before any major conference asking if youโ€™re going to be there ๐Ÿ˜‰
