I’m very interested in diving deeper into “proof of personhood” using zk tech. Can anyone provide recommendations on where I can get started? For context, I work at a social media company doing on platform Safety and would love to dig deeper into building for the future of safe yet private digital spaces.

There’s two schools of thought in this area. PoH: 1. A collection of accounts/data that make it likely you’re a real human 2. Verifiable Attestations (signed data) Passports expose signed data over nfc. You could derive a ZKP from that to prove you’re a human. The root of trust relies on the state department.

I’d start with working with a credential which is a trusted party attesting to humanity. From there you just need to verify the sig in a ZKP. PolygonID has stuff you can mess with, but I hate that system. The big issue in this approach is revocation. I actually solved this problem using a cryptographic accumulator.
