Facebook launched their VR project because they saw what happens if you don’t own the platform where the app runs in. Apple has made lots of decisions that eats into their profits.

So the fact that FB started VR before apple, but Apple did it better is an upset to everything Zuck told the board over the years.

problem is they didn’t start before Apple, they were just public before Apple
