Why is doing something different so important?

Buddhist monks seem pretty happy

The monastic life is known for its repetitive nature.

I’m just trying to grind and build a great company. Everything else seems like a waste of time.

Are you implying Buddhist monks don’t do anything different?  Iuno about that.

For me, getting a different perspective helps me get inspired and motivated.  It’s easy for me to go heads-down and not even realize I’m in a rut.  Doing something different helps me reflect and improve.
