After raising a successful round for /opacity, I can say you want the ex-founder investor on your board. Founder mode always does anything with more urgency than investor mode. Younger ones have made more clutch intros though

good point! young investors often have more to prove and so are more willing to hustle on your behalf

talk to their founders - including companies that have gone well and companies that haven’t. References are the best way to really understand what you’re getting yourself into with an investor.
