One specific thing I remember as a kid reading a Larry Niven book was the part where the protagonist gets annoyed by 2 other people in the story And then later finds out those people were HIM Mind opening to a teenager I couldn’t remember the specific details so here’s ChatGPT’s assist Norton, as the Incarnation of Time in Bearing an Hourglass, experiences time moving backward from his perspective. During his journey, he encounters two individuals who frustrate him, only to later realize they were future versions of himself interacting in reverse. This mind-bending realization highlights the paradoxes and complexities of his role controlling time.
